ABOUT ISA-NU
ISA is a student-led organization that is dedicated to bringing people of different backgrounds together at National University, thereby promoting intercultural awareness and understanding. ISA's aim is driven toward developing a network of individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds, who are positive-minded and dedicated to helping and improving the society they find themselves. We are committed to seeing that every student at the NU community has the network, tools, and resources they need to succeed both in academics, career, and interpersonal relationships with others.
What We Do
INSPIRE
One of our Mantra at ISA is “Diversity is Strength ” At ISA we inspire people to develop confidence and take pride in their cultural background. We, have a slogan "stay WOKED"
Willing to succeed, survive, achieve, and try something new
Oppress your fears with your action by trying again after failing, standing again after falling
Keep your head up above the waters, keep your dreams alive and real.
Expect the best, be positive, be realistic at the same time think outside the box.
Drive the bus that leads others to their dreams, not the bus that kills their dream. Be a leader.
EQUIP
ISA was started by a few students who believed in helping others succeed and scale through the challenges of academic and social hurdles. As such, we understand the unique challenges associated with the transition process from a different culture combined with the difficulty of integrating into a new one. We have combined different resources which helps develop a sense of belonging and provide opportunities for self-improvement, interpersonal relationship, and cultural awareness. Also, we have the best patrons who are always open to guide and mentor members of the association.
Our association is open to any student at NU who takes pride in self-development, community engagement, and cultural awareness.
